Grobet USA, located in Carlstadt, NJ has a heritage of over 130 years in the production and marketing of precision tools for professional use in demanding high precision, high-tech production applications.

In 1964, Grobet purchased the William Dixon Company, which was established in 1868. The William Dixon company was located in Newark New Jersey and supplied tools to the jewelry, dental and optical industries. In 1978, Grobet purchased the Hammel Riglander Company, which was located in New York City. Hammel Riglander was a major supplier of tools, supplies and watch material. In 1995, Grobet purchased the assets of the Vigor Company in Austell, Georgia. Vigor was also a supplier of tools and supplies to the jewelry industry but in addition, was also a major supplier of watch and clock material.

Our brand new 40,000 square-foot production plant in Cheyenne, WY is now complete and operational. This state-of-the art facility is allowing us to meet the increased demand for our products and will accommodate the further expansion of our product design and manufacturing capabilities.

State of the art manufacturing facilities owned by Grobet and selected suppliers around the world are utilized to produce many of the items we offer. Our product managers are constantly working to offer quality products at the most competitive prices.
